Koei Tecmo has given a glimpse of future game “Attack On Titan”, that is set to launch on PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 platforms. The brand is one among top Japanese game publishers. However, Koei Tecmo stated that the new “Attack On Titan” game will not borrow the widely popular combat system from “Dynasty Warriors”. They have completely redesigned their gameplay mechanics, and it is totally different from “Warriors” game.
The gameplay screenshots have been posted on a popular website Gematsu, that shows game adapt all visual cues from the well-known anime. It has been a critical and commercial success to Koei Tecmo. The cel-shaded graphic style that has been used is becoming a trend in video games based on anime shows. The game characters look alike Armin, Eren and Mikasa. Koei Tecmo “Titan” character is still unseen, we can expect in the coming days. The game will not have its own storyline and will closely follow the plot of the anime. This will encourage new gamers to start their gaming life from the beginning, so that players who are not accustomed to the franchise can be more comfortable.
“Attack On Titan” might be disappointed for some users, who already watched the anime. Koei Tecmo might make a few changes, and it will be quite interesting to see how the publisher portrays the whole story. The anime is one of the darkest TV shows on the air right now and the second season is set to be even more violent and twisted.
“Attack On Titan” is not only a game that adapted from the anime with titles like ‘One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3’. Talking about One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 is an adventure game that adapts “Warriors” combat system. In the beginning of the game, players will be able to experience the real adventure of Monkey D. Luffy (Straw Hat Luffy). However, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 developers will continue to use the ‘Dynasty Warriors’ combat mechanics. Attack On Titan game has been set to release in winter season, and the Koei Tecmo has not yet commented on release date for Xbox One or Wii U platforms.
