Huawei Mate 20 to Be Launched with Kirin 980 Processor

The next premium model by Huawei was expected to be Huawei Mate 20. There were reports that Huawei was looking to offer two different versions of this smartphone. However, now it seems that the makers are changing their plans. The new report claims that Huawei is looking to offer three versions now and the name of the models can be Huawei Mate 20 Lite, Huawei Mate 20, and Huawei Mate 20 Pro. The price of these models can be different as they may have different specifications. There are some features which will be useful for all the Mate 20 users. Sources close to the industry are saying that we may see wireless charging support here. The gadget can also have a HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor.

Huawei Mate 20 Lite can be a little different here. The model is expected to be loaded with HiSilicon Kirin 710 processor. Mate 20 Pro can be the most powerful device in the category but it can have the same HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC like Mate 20. Some specialists are saying that Kirin 980 may have additional power saving features. Therefore the gadget can receive 40% more power with the help of the new chip. Furthermore, overall performance can also be improved up to 20% with this processor. The battery is another part which can be hard to ignore here. We generally do not see flagship gadgets with huge battery capacity. Huawei Mate 20 can have 4200 mAh battery. You may not find the battery with this capacity in most of the premium devices.

There is no authentic input about the screen size. However, some sources are talking about a 6.3 inch AMOLED panel in Mate 20 and 6.9-inch OLED panel in Mate 20 Pro. The operating system is another point to notice here. There are chances that we may get Android P in this model but we still have to wait for a few more days to confirm this information. Huawei Mate 20 Pro can also have the in-display fingerprint scanner.

Memory is another vital part which we should check. Now for this segment, we can just talk about Mate 20 at this point. This smartphone can have 128GB of internal capacity and we may get 6GB RAM here. Huawei Mate 20 Pro can have a clear notch-less display. It may also have a Bezel-less design. Therefore the gadget may have an attractive look. Some reports also hint that we may get triple cameras here. One lens can be of 42MP. Huawei is working to offer a stiff challenge to the top makers. We expect that Mate 20 models to be loaded with some top features.
