Nokia X5 to Be Launched on July 18

A few days ago we told you that Nokia was looking to launch a model through an event in China but the plans were cancelled at the last moment. Remember? HMD Global was looking to launch Nokia X5 through this event. Now the company has made some new plans and they discussed the same through their official Weibo handle. The company is going to launch this model on July 18^th in China. The event will start at 2 PM local time. The company may start selling this model within the next few days. Therefore it seems that a new gadget is now ready to compete with others very soon.

Nokia X5 may be called as Nokia 5.1 Plus for the global market. It may arrive soon in other markets within the next few weeks. The smartphone can have a 5.85-inch display and the aspect ratio can be 19:9 here. It can have an HD+ screen with the resolutions of 720*1520 pixels. This can be the second model by Nokia where we may find notch display. This model can have a hybrid-SIM slot very similar to Nokia X6. Moreover, it can have a 2 GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 processor. Some reports also claim that this model has Helio P23 chipset. The exact details about the processor are not available right now. The gadget may belong to the midrange segment. Therefore memory is going to be among the main things which many people will like to check. The smartphone may arrive with 3GB/4GB RAM whereas the internal capacity can be 32GB/64GB.

HMD Global is looking to include a dual-camera setup here. The primary sensor can be of 13MP whereas the secondary sensor can have the power of 5MP. You may have the option of the 8MP camera for selfies and video calls. Nokia X5 can have all the new connectivity alternatives like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and USB Type-C port. Nokia X5 can have Android 8.1 Oreo operating system which will be ready to offer the new functions. Nokia may include a 3000 mAh battery here. Here we would like to clarify that the battery may not appear powerful than Nokia X6. The smartphone can have a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.  The price of the model may not go beyond $150 at the time of release.
