HMD Global to Take Some More Time to Launch Nokia X5

HMD Global was going to launch its rumoured Nokia X5 or 5.1 in China on July 11^th, 2018. The gadget was in news for some time due to some leaks. It has been termed as the successor of Nokia 5.1 Plus but some latest developments may disappoint many Nokia fans across the globe. The company was planning to launch this model in China through a special event but it was cancelled at the last moment. HMD Global gave this information through their official Weibo account. This development was unexpected because HMD Global generally brings their gadget as per their schedule.

The company is not saying anything officially about the reason for cancelling the event. However, many sources are claiming that the company faced some venue-related issues which forced them to cancel the event. HMD Global has not discussed the next launch date till now but they will make an announcement within the next few days. Nokia X5 is expected to be called as Nokia 5.1 Plus for the global version. The gadget may belong to the midrange segment. Many experts believe that this model will compete with economical Chinese models available in many parts of the globe. The official specifications are not available at present. However, a few rumours are going on for the last few weeks.

Nokia X5 can have a notch display with an impressive 19:9 aspect ratio. The Bezels are expected to be thin in comparison to other similar models.
