Google announced new OS version for android operating named as Android M (6.0). In which, most of the people confused what is “M” in Android M OS. Apparently, all android OS version has dessert name like Kitkat, Jellybean, sandwich etc. Dave Burke (Android VP engineer), posted an image in a twitter account. Moreover, the company also pointed out upcoming Android 6.0 is also called as Android marshmallow releasing an SDK version on the official page. SDK version of Android Marshmallow is available on the official blogspot page for developer.
Jamal Eason (Google product Manager) says, “Whether you like them straight out of the bag, roasted to a golden brown exterior with a molten centre, or in fluff form, who doesn’t like marshmallows? We definitely like them”
In comparison with lollipop, the Android M OS comes with improvement in performance, whereas lollipop rollout with numerous features. In addition, Android M will replace Google Now voice search with Tap on Now. And it also includes Android pay, 64-bit ARMv8 architecture, fingerprint scanner supports for new Smartphone, new app permission model as well as USB type C respectively.
