Google voice search updated version supports message service via three popular messaging apps. Yes! Messaging applications have become so popular which killed our phone messaging method. While talking about these three apps, WhatsApp, Viber and Wechat supported for most of the mobile platforms. Google voice search is one kind of personal assistant for Chrome browser and Android device. Moreover, it works on voice command to search, navigate, make a call and take a picture. Now we don’t need to minimize Google voice search to use any of these applications. Google added new text messaging functionality through WhatsApp, Viber or Wechat.
How to start using WhatsApp, Viber or Wechat through Google Now:
If you want to send message via WhatsApp in Google voice search, start searching by a tap on microphone button and say “Ok Google, send a WhatsApp message to ‘X’ (recipient’s name) in Google voice search. Specify the name of the person with the voice command, whom you want to send the message. In result, Google Now pop-up recipient’s chat screen. Similarly, you can also send text messages using Viber and Wechat application in Google Now. The only thing you need to say “send a Viber message to X” or Send a Wechat message to ‘X’.
Presently, this feature is applicable for WhatsApp, Viber and Wechat applications. We can expect same feature for other messaging apps in the future. Furthermore, Google Now messaging feature is supported in English language. Google Inc. brings new feature to make things easier. We can expect Google voice message services supported with all languages in future updates. In addition, the Android M operating system is going to launch “tap on now”, Instead of Google Now.
