Two Nokia Smartphones to Have Android N and Snapdragon 820 Processor

Two days ago we were talking about two Nokia gadgets. Remember? Now there are some new developments in the story here as some market experts are giving some more details about it. Nokia is preparing to launch two new smartphones this year and these models will be manufactured by HMD Global. There is a contract between HMD Global and Nokia as the former will manufacture gadgets for Nokia for next ten years. HMD Global is looking to invest $500 million at the beginning and it will include important things like marketing the gadgets globally under different segments.

Now according to some reliable sources the models may have Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processors. These gadgets can be IP68 certified models. Therefore it will have dust and water resistant features. Moreover another thing which is almost certain is that company is looking to include 2K display here. The gadgets will be ready to challenge flagship models in coming times. Screen size can be 5.2 inches and 5.5 inches and you may get OLED display here. Experts have the view that company is looking to add Android Nougat here which will be the latest operating system at the time of release.

The bigger model of this smartphone can have a 22.5 MP camera. Currently there are no details available for secondary camera. The chances are the model may arrive by the end of this year. Android Nougat may arrive in October this year. Therefore it is almost certain that Nokia may launch these models after a month a two after the official release of the new operating system. Price of this model can be the thing to see here. Nokia is aware of the current market condition. It will certainly not going to be an easy task for the makers to attain success. The market leaders of Android gadgets will keep an eye on them. Therefore under these conditions Nokia may launch these models with competitive price tag. However at present there are talks that the starting price of this model can be $450 only. It is a little surprising to see why Nokia is planning to add Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 here. They still have some time to release the gadget but there are no reports that company is looking to add Snapdragon 821 processor here. The official reports may still take some time.
