LG Electronics is now ready to launch two models in August. The company has announced LG K11 Plus in Chile and this model is expected to be the successor of LG K10 (2018). The company is also looking to release K11 Alpha next month. There are reports that LG showed the model in the event but there is no information about the same on the official website. It seems that LG wants to regain the ground more quickly than before. It is the reason that they are looking to bring two different models next month. The strategy may appear good for the brand but the ground reality is very different.
There is absolutely no doubt that LG has the potential to release the top-quality models in every segment. However, their plans are not good enough to show their strength to the brands. It is among the main reasons that most of their models do not offer much competition. You can notice that they brought LG K10 (2018) a few months ago and now they are working to release LG K11 Plus. We just discussed that this upcoming model is considered to be the successor of LGK10 (2018). It is tough to understand why the makers are offering the new model if the specifications are not very different. Many specialists are claiming that LGK11 Plus is nothing but the rebranded version of LGK10 (2018).
LG just kept the memory part and the resolutions different to bring LG K11 Plus. They are looking to compete with their South Korean counterpart Samsung. However, the strategies of LG are not good enough to pose any threat to the market position of Samsung anytime soon. LG K11 Plus has a 5.3 inch HD screen with the resolutions of 720*1280 pixels. The smartphone has 32GB internal memory and you can use 3GB RAM here. The memory can be expanded up to 2TB with the help of the microSD card. This smartphone has 1.5GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6750 SoC and it will work with Android Oreo operating system. LG has included a 13MP rear camera here whereas the selfie camera is of 5MP. The starting price of this smartphone is €270 only and it will be available in Gold, Blue and Black colours. It has a 3000 mAh battery.
LG K11 Alpha is like the trimmed edition of LG K11 Plus. The design and many hardware parts are not very different. The model has 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. You will find an 8MP primary camera here and the selfie camera is of 5MP. The smartphone will work with Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system. LG K11 Alpha can have the price-tag of €220 in the market. You may find this model in Blue and Gold colours.
