Now, it’s time to pair your phone and computer via compatible data cable. Use iTunes for upgradation, hold down (Mac) or shift (Windows) and click on “check for updates” option. This will perform a quick scan and replace your current OS with iOS 9 (GM). On the Other hand, you can also choose “restore iPhone” to delete the old OS and install iOS 9 (GM). Some users report, removing old OS leads to bug issues. So it’s better to go with “check for updates” option.
Once you complete installation procedure, find the downloaded IPSW file and launch it. iTunes pop-up with new notification saying “iTunes will update your iPhone to iOS 9.0 and will verify the update with Apple”. Click ok! You’re done with it.
