In IFA event 2015, Sony announced with anticipated Xperia Z5 Smartphone. Earlier, we come across many speculations on Sony Xperia Z5 features, price and release date. However, the company unveiled our legendary phone during IFA event on Wednesday. According to specs leaked on twitter account (@evleaks), the company released flagship in three variants namely Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact as well as Xperia Z5 Premium/Plus.
Most interestingly, Sony is the first company to release 4K resolution phone in the world. While comparison all three variants, they varied in size, price and features. The company has brought Sony Xperia Z5 to all level Consumers. There is no word that Xperia Z5 is only for high class and middle class Consumer who always prefer fully featured Smartphones.
Design: Talking about the outlook, all three variants look sharp with a bit rounded corner edge. While comparing with Samsung Galaxy S6 edge Plus, the Sony Xperia Z5 is waterproof and scratch resistant. The display is retooled to fit with finger sensors in the bottom. Overall body is so elegant and slim, which is much more comfortable on one hand typing.
Camera: Sony’s previously released Smartphone’s rear camera is placed on the side. Here the same rear camera placement is continued. The best thing in the Sony new flagship is its 23-megapixel camera that shutter on 0.03 hybrid auto focus technology.
Hardware: Since the device brings 4K display resolution, there is a high chance of overheating on long usage. Sony included many types of camera stuff in Smartphones over the past year. Moreover, most of the smartphone users facing thermal issues resulting phone to shut down immediately. Considering all stuff to control thermal issues, Sony this hardware is better. It is proved in an experiment, over 10 minutes of recording 4K video on Sony Xperia caused only slight warm. It seems to be a great move from the Company on thermal management.
Battery: Sony Xperia Z5 brings 2900 mAh battery that standby device for two days in normal usage. Moreover, the device display pauses in static image and turn off CPU while not in use. This can help you to save up to 30-40% battery.
In conclusion, Most of the features are very useful compared to previously released Smartphones. Fingerprint doesn’t make any good impression other than privacy on lock/unlock screen functions. But we can expect more from fingerprint feature, once Android Pay reaches Sony Xperia Z5. It will add more privacy on transactions.
