Xiaomi Brings Mi5 & Mi5 Pro

Xiaomi finally brought their next flagship model after a long time. The company showed their next smartphone Xiaomi Mi5 at an event in Beijing as well as in MWC 2016. They took almost two years to bring their next premium gadget but it seems that the product is good enough to justify the time taken by the makers. It was almost sure that company will show the model in Beijing but this time they are participating in MWC, 2016 event also. This is the first time they are present in this event and it shows that company is increasing their footprints rapidly. Here we are providing the details of this model.

Xiaomi Mi5 has the screen-size of 5.15 inches and makers have added a fullHD display in this gadget. You can easily watch the screen from different angles without any difficulty as the smartphone has a useful IPS LCD panel. This model easily can easily adjust the display during sunlight as the makers are using the same technology with enhanced characteristics available in Mi4i. The front section has a slim home button. Company has also added a fingerprint scanner facility here. This smartphone is undoubtedly appearing to be better than previous model. There are volume and power buttons on the right side of this smartphone. Furthermore it many other useful sections like USB Type C port present at the base of this model.

Xiaomi is bringing this model in three variants containing different storage capacities. The first model will have 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage capacity. The second model has the same RAM but the storage capacity is 64GB and then we have Mi5 Pro which has 4GB of RAM with 128GB of storage capacity. One of the best things about all these models is that company is using Snapdragon 820 processor here. This processor makes the device fast and you can easily utilize different functions with ease. Company has also added 3D glass back in Xiaomi Mi5 base model and 64GB model whereas Mi5 Pro has 3D ceramic back. All the three devices will work through Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. Company is using their MIUI 7 platform to bring the characteristics of this OS. So you can comfortably use different functions of Google.

The weight of Mi5 is just 129 grams. Therefore we can easily see that the gadget is ready to compete with any flagship model in this section. Company is using a 16MP primary camera and those who love to take selfies can use 2 micro-meter based sensor 4MP camera. The price of the Mi5 base model, 64GB model and Mi5 Pro are CNY 1,999, CNY 2,299, and CNY 2,699 only. The smartphone supports 4K video recording and it will go on sale from March 1^st in China. Currently it is not clear when the model will be available in other parts of the world.
