HTC One M9: Everything You Should Know

There will be a 20.7MP primary camera in HTC”s next flagship phone, HTC One M9. We have no exact information regarding the secondary camera, but it will be of 13 MP or 4 MP. The device may launch at CES 2015 in Las Vegas by the end of this week.

Some leaks suggest HTC One M9 will include a 5-inches capacitive touch screen and pre-installed Android Lollipop OS.

Display

The smatphone sports a 5-inches Super capacitive touchscreen with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution for 441 PPI. The screen is protected by latest version of Corning Gorilla Glass.

OS and Processor

HTC One M9 is preloaded with Android 5.0 Lollipop and features a Quadcore Snapdragon 810 processor. The device is very fast as it runs in the combination speeds of 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 and 2 GHz Cortex-A57.

Memory and Battery

M9 provides 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal memory which can be expanded for up to 128 GB by memory card. The phone is backed by a  2,840mAh battery which offers up to 35o hrs of stand by time and 15 hrs of talktime, according to technical experts.

Camera

HTC phone carries dual 20.7 MP primary camera alongside 5248 х 3936 pixels resolution and dual tone flash. Simultaneous recording of videos & images and 2160p video recording are the main advantages of the rear camera.

A Twitter user, @upleaks, recently tweeted a screenshot of M9 specifications which he got from the AnTuTu benchmark site and it reveals that HTC Hima aka One M9 will have a 13 MP front facing camera. But GSM Arena says that the information is not accurate and we can expect maximum 4 MP secondary camera on the device. Will it be 13 MP or 4 MP ? Wait and see. Most probably it will be a 13 MP camera as lots of high-tech phones feature 5 MP or higher camera on front side now.

HTC One M9 is expected to arrive in Gunmetal Gray, Glacial Silver and Amber Gold colors similar to its predecessor.
